Persona 3 FES Boss Guide - Prepare Before You Enter
Before a FES boss, spend one preparation pass checking the party, equipment, healing and Persona coverage. A generic weakness claim is not a substitute for the exact boss page.
On this page
Save before the approach, check the boss-specific evidence, bring healing and coverage for the observed threat, enter with a clear retreat plan, and change one variable at a time after a failed attempt.

Use this boss preparation order
Save before the approach
Create a clean checkpoint before spending resources or changing the party. This is your recovery point if a weakness or mechanic behaves differently than expected.
Check the exact boss page
Match the floor, story date and boss name. FES boss data must not be copied from Portable or Reload just because the encounter has a familiar title.
Prepare three answers
Bring a way to heal, a way to survive the boss’s pressure and a way to test or exploit the supported damage options. Do not overcommit to an unverified weakness.
Read the failure signal
After a loss, identify whether the problem was damage, healing, turn order, status pressure or resource exhaustion. Change that variable first on the next attempt.
Boss checks before you commit
| Check | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Party | Roles, current HP/SP and equipment |
| Persona stock | Coverage and a safe fallback Persona |
| Healing | Enough recovery for the intended attempt |
| Mechanic | The boss-specific trigger or phase |
| Retreat plan | When to stop and restore resources |
