Persona 3 FES Guide - Where to Start
If you are starting Persona 3 FES, treat every free day as a choice between school life, Social Links, preparation and Tartarus. Start with a flexible calendar log before attempting a perfect route.
On this page
Check the in-game date, decide what must be finished before the next story gate, carry a matching Arcana Persona when practical, and use Tartarus in deliberate visits instead of spending every free night there.

Your first FES planning loop
Read the date before acting
Start in the calendar and note the day, school commitment and next story deadline. This tells you which time slots are actually free.
Choose one immediate goal
Use the next free slot for a Social Link, a social stat, a school answer or preparation. Do not try to advance every objective at once.
Carry the right Arcana Persona
When you are visiting a Social Link, keep a Persona of the matching Arcana if your current stock allows it. The habit reduces wasted relationship progress.
Batch Tartarus preparation
Enter Tartarus when you can make meaningful progress, collect what you need and return with enough time to recover before the next gate.
